Description
Eagle Kite for Bird Deterrent
The eagle kite is an effective and durable method to keep pest birds away from your garden. It is one of the most popular bird deterrent solutions, and rightly so – it drives unwanted visitors away from your orchard or fields.
The silent and effective kite works even in the slightest wind breeze (less than 2 km/h). The 7-meter telescopic pole ensures constantly changing movement of the kite. It rises and swoops down like a real eagle, and its presence is enough to keep pest birds away. The instinctive fear of birds of prey is ingrained in bird behavior, and therefore the eagle kite prevents them from entering protected areas.
The reflective eyes and striking color of the kite are additional reasons why birds feel disturbed by it.
The effective range of the eagle kite depends on its flight height. The 7-meter telescopic pole with a rod length of approximately 5 m brings the bird scarecrow to a flight height of up to 12 m. The effective area is approximately 0.75 hectares.
In addition to this kite system, we offer systems tailored to different application areas with a 5-meter or 9-meter telescopic pole.
The eagle kite is an animal-friendly bird deterrent that drives birds away naturally. The silent operation of this deterrent ensures that this bird scarecrow is also well-suited for gardens and balconies.
Application Areas
The kite system can be assembled by anyone and can be installed wherever protection is needed. Application possibilities range from vegetable growing, viticulture, and fish farming to high-rise buildings, industrial halls, port facilities, and landfills.
The flight height of the kite also enables use in tall crops such as orchards or tree nurseries.
Installation
In general, care has been taken to ensure that the installation of this deterrent is very simple and takes no more than 10 minutes. The assembly consists of four simple steps:
- Drive the ground anchor halfway deep into the ground
- Extend the pole to its full length
- Assemble the eagle and tie it to the top of the pole
- Slide the telescopic pole over the ground anchor
When mounting on a roof, use the included ground spike for the pole.
